Nick Cotton

Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield in Ukraine

With over 30 years of experience as a property professional, working both as principal and consultant, Nick Cotton has a broad range of experience in all spheres of commercial agency, property and facilities management, investment consultancy, research and development, and valuation.

Following graduation in 1988, Nick Cotton worked for six years in the English Industrial Estates Corporation English Partnerships, a UK government agency charged with the development of industrial parks and the attraction of employment to the assisted areas of England.

Following a further period of four years working in the UK in private practice focusing on commercial real estate appraisal, management and investment, Nick Cotton relocated to Eastern Europe.

Nick Cotton has been Managing Director of DTZ Ukraine (now Cushman & Wakefield) since 1999. He negotiated terms for the affiliation and rebranding of DTZ to Cushman & Wakefield in Ukraine, effective from May 2017.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has formerly served as a board member of the European Business Association (EBA) in Ukraine as well as sitting on the board of the British Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. Between 2001-2004 he was a co-chair of the Real Estate Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in Ukraine.

Nick Cotton has been a key speaker at many real estate conferences in Ukraine and abroad, and wrote numerous articles for property related mass media.
